Cardiff/Edmonton Area Ice Off

Hello,

Can anyone confirm that there ice is off of Cardiff Park Pond or any of the other local trout lakes? I just cant seem to be able to wait for pike opener this year!

Drove out to Cardiff about a week ago. Did not see any open water.

I've been anxiously keeping an eye on the satellite imagery on Sentinel playground and it looks like there are at most only small pockets of each pond that are open. Looks like it'll be a bit longer of a wait for enough to be open

Yep, next weekend should start to open up on small lakes / ponds. All open in two weeks should be the case.

I just drove by Cardiff yesterday and there is only about 10 feet of water along the shore and the rest was ice.
