Good for you....

How was the water; is it starting to algae up?

The water clarity was quite good, very little algae.
However, the weeds are growing very quickly, already to the surface in 8 feet of water in spots.

I was out yesterday the 15th and it was a good day. The water was surprisingly clear.
The fish were in excellent condition.

Not many boats out until later in the day when the recreational people came out. They were courteous and played in the deep areas away from guys fishing.

The sad part is that we counted over a dozen dead fish floating; and that was only what we saw.
They were all whitefish and all were big, in the 5+ pound, range.
