Default Finnlight/Swarovski Z5 elevation adjustment issues

I went to try out my new Finnlight today with Leupold rings and Swarovski Z5 3.5-18 BT, and I ran out of elevation adjustment. I'm shooting about 18" high with no more clicks left to drop POI down. Just hoping you might have some suggestions on how to correct this before I buy Optilock rings (maybe sliding my rings forward or backwards, or something simple like that?). Leupold rings fit my scope perfectly, so I'd prefer to save a couple bucks if possible. Thanks in advance.

It's likely your zero stop causing the issue. Check in the scope manual.

There was a thread a week ago with a Nightforce scope...was the zero stop issue.

Running out of windage adjustment is common on a Z5 but I haven’t seen one run out of elevation. It wouldn’t surprise me though. They don’t have a lot of adjustment in the high mag 1” tubes.

If you’re running out of adjust down I’d say it’s your zero stop. Do you have the elevation turret pulled apart when sighting in?

I'll check the manual wrt the Zero Stop. Thanks for your advice so far fellas!!! I'll let you know if that was the issue.

I think you have to remove the cap and all the rings for the bt. If I remember right the bottom one is the zero stop

Yep just adjust the zero stop. Mine was shooting high out of the box with no more adjustment. And I wasn't aware of this option.

Update:
I took the elevation turret apart as someone had suggested and I'm pretty sure that my issue is resolved. It was 100% Zero Stop related. I just need to go back out to the range and try it now.

Thanks to everyone who helped!

If my wife brings home that ikea crap she puts it together- I refuse. She bought a desk one time that took me 7 hours to put together.

My last IKEA experience ended up with 5-6 hours of frustration, lots of swearing, and the realization that particle board sucks and should not be used in furniture where a screwed connection is concerned.

If they made more products with better materials, I bet the average person would be happy to pay a little more to get better quality.

At least with the scope you can blame "operator error" and correct the issue with some knowledge/reading ... and you have a quality optic - with IKEA crap you still have crap.
