Nice rifles have seemed to dry up.

Which Winchesters, Model 70's or Levers. Google up Bashaw Sports or Prophet River both have quite a few model 70's.

Hazards of the current political climate in the US, all the gun vendors are selling everything they can build over the last year. I saw a post today saying there have been over 12,000,000 new guns sold in the US this year, over 6,000,000 new gun owners. May just get worse yet over the next year as well, with Dems getting elected down there and their threats. Ammo is hard to come by, reloading components and tools are flying off the shelf, primers are about equivalent to gold down there. Plus there are still primary source supply issues and production issues related to Covid hampering production and distribution.
They haven't stopped making it, but, if you want it, you shud likely just go to a reliable dealer and place an order, you will eventually get it.

Here's my very first rifle. Model 670a in the .243 win. I refinished it and will likely keep it. I is deadly accurate

sign up for the Icollector auctions. There was at least 4 major gun auctions this weekend with hundreds of old winchesters on the block.
