Panama Nautical Club top fishing resort located in the Gulf of Chiriquí on the Pacific Coast of Panama. Our backyard is known to be one of the world’s most prolific big game fishing grounds at Hannibal Bank and Isla Montuosa. Our Island lodge is the most luxurious lodge in the area and one of the closest operations to the sportfishing hot spots. We can accommodate up to 32 anglers and offers numerous sleeping configuration to cater for couples, families or larger fishing groups. During a 3-day trip, it is possible to land marlin, sailfish, yellowfin tuna, roosterfish, and cubera snapper. Add wahoo, Mahi, bluefin trevally, snook, grouper, and amberjack to the list as well.
Our 1st quarter 2020 was a wonderful busy time, epic Panama fishing happened 85 percent of the time. During the quarter we had 35 groups fishing with us & 1 large group of 24 anglers. Early season we had incredible offshore action, then mid-Feb we saw a slow down thru early March than an uptick again late March. An interesting observation this year was the massive abundance of baitfish mid-Feb which probably resulted in a lower than normal catch ratio offshore.
