Default Fibre optic shotgun sight

I bought a Remington 870 with a small green fibre optic sight at the end and a bead in the middle. I have seen other people with 870’s who have Longer fibre optics at the end, and different colours. I know it’s not the size that matters, it’s how you use it, but regardless... I would like to upgrade. I couldn’t find anything on Cabelas Canada online (the American store had lots to choose from), so if you know of anywhere I could find one online or within an hour of Olds AB, I would appreciate it.

Is the gun going to be used for shooting flying targets? If so, adding a large high viz sight isn't an upgrade. Trying to aim a shotgun using the beads as sights, at flying targets , is a great way to miss.

Im not looking for a large one. Mine is just a tiny green dot. Guy I hunt with has a red dot one about 1/2 inch long. It catches way more light.

Which is exactly my point, when it catches more light, it draws your attention to the bead, instead of to the target where it needs to be.

It doesn't for me, I like the green ones. It allows me to concentrate on where the shot is going picking up the barrel in my peripheral vision.

Don't know where to buy one though as the ones I have came with the shotguns.

You can buy them almost everywhere.

Even Amazon has many different versions.
