Default Bass pro online prices

Hi everyone,

I started a thread a while ago about lever action 30-30's to get some opinions on which was best. Since then I stll haven't bought one.
I have been waiting, looking for sales. I have never been to bass pro but am seeing a large price difference between Cabelas and Bass pro online, it seems too good to be true.

Are bass pro prices listed in American $? I do have my store preference set to cross iron mills.

Thanks!

As far as I know BP does not have a Canadian website so you are seeing American dollars.

This linked page explains that the basspro.com site is in U.S. dollars and ships from the U.S. Bass Pro does not have a Canadian site, it states you should use the cabelas.ca site for Canadian dollar pricing.

In my experience bass pro does have better pricing on most guns and optics than cabela’s, which is odd because bass pro bought cabela’s. I just wish bass pro would create a Canadian website so one could check stock and such!

35 Whelen

That would be great, I just hope that their prices don’t jump up and match cabelas! Some of their prices jumped up after they bought cabelas, like projectiles, I disapprove of that, haha.

I suggest you check places like Prophet River, Bashaw etc. I find they are often much better prices than Cabela's and the service is far superior in all ways.

I definitely noticed this at Bashaw Sports, my thoughts on their great pricing is that it’s driven by low overhead, that building has to have been paid off for decades and their local taxes are likely rather low. I was pretty impressed that they had more in stock than what’s on the display shelves. Their storage area probably looks like the warehouse at the end of the first Indiana Jones movie

Default Only in local flyers

So far, the only place where Basspro's website shows CAD prices are the local, store specific flyers
