Close of ice fishing season for spawning

Hi folks, I don't know if I am the only one who hates our online regs but am I correct that the ice fishing season will end on the lakes around Southern Alberta on the 31st of March this year? I think that it has traditionally closed around the 14th of March. Thanks any info is much appreciated! Gary

Their okay. Just have to put in a bit of time to figure it out. What zone are you fishing in? PP1?
If so, it depends on the lake but most of the major lakes close on 15th of March.

every body of water can be different...it's not necessarily zone-dependent. I find the regs very easy to check. Google " xxxx lake fishing regs" and it takes you right there...

If I'm reading it correctly, it's PP1, closes March 15th!

Yup that is correct for the Hat area.
