My hubs is a wildlife monitor for bears on the oil site by Mildred Lake and he's just finishing his last shift and will be home tomorrow. He goes in the bush by helicopter, then argo with biologists, and there ain't any bears seen since a couple weeks ago when one left it's den and hung back while the biologists did their thing. It returned after they left the area

Big ole blacky was out and about my area this morning. Still lots of good chew (standing oats) for them but with a big dump of snow on way guessing they'll be hitting the hay for the winter real quick.

I saw a pretty good bear in 256 yesterday. That’s the latest I’ve seen one. The weather has been very warm for many days now.
