Default Flooding in Ottawa

Sometimes the best thing to do is stay out of the way and let those who actually know what real work is , get on with it.

I guess that our PM feels that his photo opportunities are more important than the work done by the people working to oppose the flood waters?

High River - extensive numbers brought in to assist in rescue, salvage and recovery plus gear. Province had some on the logistics recovery team that stayed on as Deputy Ministers, which over time became a problem.

No. The military wasn’t there for the rescue. Farmers, heavy equipment operators and fishermen were.

The military showed up after for the rcmp to use them as a scape goat.

Regardless, my best to the people affected by the flooding out east.

Now here's the issue with the video, all the comments disrespecting our PM, all the false reports on his actions that day.

A rude Heckler gets coverage the whole day and praised for his words and actions, yet RCMP confirm no trucks were held up, people who were actually there filling up bags confirm no trucks were stopped. They also state he was filling up bags, no reports on the bags needing correction. And that he treated volunteers with up most respect, and was there to help encourage more Canadians to come out and volunteer. Other than the one idiot and keyboard warriors, it seems like they were very happy with him being there.

Hate him or love him, that's your personal opinion and right but let's not spread lies and belittle a man who is actually in this particular situation doing what's needed for Canada and helping our People.
No politician is perfect, call them out when they deserve it, respect them when they're doing good.

Let's avoid fake news

Interesting opinion. The Military did not rescue anyone there. Their helicopters were not used to get people off roofs? Hmmmm.
Opinions are interesting.

Meh the video starts out with him in the middle of a photo op holding up how many soldiers so they can pose with him,of course the RCMP won't speak ill of the boy wonder. The emperor has no clothes and deserves no quarter. He disrespects Canada at every turn ,so you reap what you sew.
