Only if it is under 4 weeks old and domestic. Then you get to call it Squab and charge more money for it!

I don’t actually believe this. Shooting sports are firmly entrenched in England and it’s a whole (big) industry.

Well I just did some tease arch and it is true.... they antics took advantage a bit.
Shooters are supposed to make sure first that shooting is a last means resort to a pest problem. Then are supposed to apply for a permit to shoot pests. Apparently people were simply shooting without the permit.

I’ve done that myself and I have to say that shooting crows in England is a whole lot of fun. They don’t migrate like here and there are millions of them, way overpopulated and imagine what they do to the song birds.

I guess that also means no more wild shot pigeons in the supermarkets in England. That’s a wonderful thing to see and even more wonderful in the oven.
