Default Bow Valley Campground area

Hello,
I have 4 days coming up in the Bow Valley Campground.

My plan is to take my two kids (7 & 5) up to Grotto Lk. for stocked Rainbow trout. Just wondering if anyone else has fished there and is it a good spot for little kids who just want to catch some fish?

I've never fished this upper bow section for browns. I'm planning on bringing a frameless pontoon boat and drifting back to the campsite. Or am I better off from the shore?

Not looking for your favourite spots but any tips in this area would be greatly appreciated.

I've read Jim McLennan's article from 1999 about this section of the river and apparently streamer fishing is going to be my best bet if I miss a stonefly or mayfly hatch.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
