What section are you fishing? I have been out several times this year with no issues of bears. i did get a pic of a nice sized male on a trail cam in the area I fish but has since moved through the area. The bear caused some havoc with one property owner in the sense all his bird feeders were destroyed.
I have not seen any sign of bears in the area I fish since the pic. have seen cat tracks but they are always along that river.
