I just bought one of these (or another as I already have the Pro-Hunter Endevour 209x50 and one of Jim Shockeys personal Pro-Hunter receivers he used) from CGN sponsor in Prince Albert Sk.
I paid $459.95, with shipping & taxes it's $498.70 to my door.
I'm trying to decide if this was an impulse buy or an investment
And I'm wondering if the store I bought it from finally realized the price was low because I checked this morning and it's now $500.
I've killed many a deer a couple elk and a few moose with my Encore's & Pro-Hunters since 2005 and have to say these are a well built inline. Don't get me wrong, I do love the traditional side/flintlocks they are much funner to shoost.
Last year I gave the Knight inline a try and as much as it was accurate it was a PIA to clean and not all that field friendly besides being heavy IMO. I quickly flipped that one.
Now I sit and wait for it to arrive. I'm going to keep the iron sights (fiber optic) on this one and hunt with it that way. But of course it has to get to the back of line and wait it's turn.
I'm thinking it's an investment
