Default Wolf Calls

Looking for some advice on what the best calls are out there right now to lure in wolves? I have never specifically targeted wolves, only shot them when out hunting and would run across the odd one

One of my favorite hunting areas has been taken over, wolf crap everywhere and today while grouse hunting I saw a pup crapping in the middle of the road then a HUGE black one run across in front of my. Iv seen alot of wolves, this is a big one. From all the crap iv been seeing, they have been dining on alot of moose

Im definitely no expert, but a good guess would be to use any distress call. Alot of moose in your area? Moose in distress. Alot of deer, fawn in distress. Whatever you notice them eating.

Have not seen much for deer, moose or elk droppings like I normally do. So far it seems they are eating alot of moose as its moose fur in all there poo.

Just figured if see whats most effective as there is a bazillion different distress calls out there lol

I will howl to locate and call in or just howl they will come to you (hands)

but if you have their attention then use a Elk reed in mouth/and hands to change tone and squeal them in with a distress Cow Elk/calf call .. or Cow Moose distress/calf

remember you could and will get every thing coming

use all your senses

have fun

Got this one.

Haven't had any wolves come yet, so I won't vouch for it. The couple I did call in came to a cottontail rabbit call.

Default animals in distress

Animal in distress calls are a dinner bell for most predators, but .......

Not recommended until AFTER the grizzlies go into hibernation!
Been enough stories in the news lately already

All the wolves we've called in, we used coyote calls, and set up the same way.
Wolves hate coyotes

I've got this one too. I only had one day to use it last winter but it did bring in a wolf. I plan on trying it more this year.
I know for a fact if you howl with this it makes moose run away!

ordered that call and have some distress calls already. The amount of wolk droppings I found down all my trails explains why I have seen no sign of deer moose or elk
