Default First Bears. Big Black and a Coloured

First two bears ever. The big black one was lumbering down a trail right at us.
Great hunt weekend.

WOW! That big black is a BIG BLACK! Congrats on those bears, esp. if I read correctly, and this is the first ones you have ever harvested. Rifle or bow? Stand or Spot and Stalk? C'mon give us a little story and details.

They were both with rifles. The coloured was over bait. The Black was on a trail hiking out to the bait but he met us half way coming toward us.
Coloured Squared 5'5" and we didn't measure his skull
The Black Squared 6'5" and a 20" skull.

First Bears for each of us.
