Do you have any footage online we can enjoy?

Yeah I have a few older shorts on vimeo. Took a break last year from packing camera gear. Hopefully I can get back at it.

Here's my 2013 self filmed whitetail. Shot was high I thought he was further for some reason.

It's real rough threw it together the other night quickly for so something to do.

I've been filmi my hunts for a few years now. I've been fortunate enough to get my caribou, Dall sheep, mule deer and bighorn hunts all on film along with numerous other wildlife sightings such as a pack of 18 wolves last year, some great bull elk and 9 different Grizzlies.
There's a couple of the first videos on YouTube from before I upgraded to a HD camera.
You can search Zac's NWT archery Dall sheep and Zac's NWT mountain caribou on YouTube for those two videos. That's allnive uploaded this far.
We make a dvd now at the end of the season.

Good job man we all have days like that in the field where everything seems to be going wrong but most of those days don't end like yours did, Nice buck!!!

Check out my 2014 hunt that a little bitter sweet as well I did not get the actual kill shot on film but the rest was great!

If you click on the "From the wild" picture on the right, it takes you to his vimeo site. Each episode is $2.99.

That's actually pretty good value considering his skills making a show. Guy seems pretty legit. I know hes currently hashing it out to hit network tv soon. We plan on working with him on some side projects once our show hits tv. Hes got a real knack for the creative angles and such. I love the fact hes focusing on the cuisine side of things with wild game. And not just ma and pa dinners, fine dining stuff too.

I agree with you. I understand the amount of time and hard work are required to put something like that together. I'll be checking them out tonight.

We are actually calling it an Outdoors adventure show. It wont JUST be hunting. Fishing, hiking, heli tours, goose hunting, deer hunting, elk, moose etc etc etc

Getting your kills on film definitely has its challenges, once in a while you get lucky.

Got into this thread late, but was very impressed with the blackbear hunt from Hugenuge. Congrats on your first bear bow kill, and the filming was excellent.
Hugenuge, the show "the Search" on Wildtv is doing a new contest this year about Cnd. hunters called "the Canadian Syndicate". If I were you I would look into it. Just that one film about your bear hunt looked better then many I've seen on other "the Search" shows that I have watched. Who knows, you could get your own show with sponsers to really enjoy your passion for filming and hunting.

Thanks for the videos, folks.
I've come back a few times to watch then again. I have a gopro that I have yet to take out with me. Sure hope I can get a hunt on film even half as exciting as this past fall.

Have a look at the Replay XD. I have that one and two GoPro's, pretty much haven't touched the GoPro's since. 1080p video, and extremely low profile next to the GP's and mine has definitely seen some abuse.

Been auto-racing for around 7 years now, used to always use GoPro's until my wife bought me this Replay. Haven't looked back since, incredible camera.

Ya they look like nice cameras I just checked them out. Do you know if they have a remote option so you can turn it on from a distance? How is the audio on these cameras?

Also Check out epic stealth cam their not a bad little camera as well.

I know the Drift series of camera's have remotes, the new stealth is small. The sony camera's also have a remote.

I've been trying to pick out a new camera to strap onto my dog for hunting season since the gopro failed terrible in the brush.
