Default Lot's of data kicking around for 140 gr pills -

And I never really worked up for the 140; but mine really likes a healthy dose of H4831 behind the Speer 160 flatbase, or the Hornady 154. Not uncommon to have a nice 3 shot cloverleaf at 100 yards. Drops deer efficiently. Have not chronographed the load yet as I work towards accuracy, not max velocity. Might be a quirk but I found that all jacketed bullets displayed better accuracy when coated with Alox. Check out the Accuratereloading website.

Win 760 and IMR 4350 work great in my 7X57 AI. Just start with medium loads for standard 7X57 and work up carefully. I use magnum primers for all ball powder loads.

Sounds like 4350 is the powder of choice. I've been playing with 4064 and seems ok with 44grs but I think I'm running a bit warm. I haven't been shooting for 6months, so I really need to brush up on trigger control. I bedded the recoil lug area, but I think doing the whole action will help. Then find out if the barrel likes to be free floated or a pressure point somewhere. A lot of variables

I am running 49 grains of IMR 4350 in my standard 7x57 with no high pressure signs or hard extraction. I get 2830 fps with 140 grain Nosler Partitions so I never thought of AI-ing my 7x57.
Everything that I hit with the 7x57 never goes anywhere but down.
You should be able to get another 3-4 grains.
