2012 Archery Whitetail #2
Well, I went out Saturday and rattled in and shot this whitetail out of the same treestand as my buck last weekend. Kind of a cool story with this guy. I have trailcam pics of him a few times before I shot him. The picture dated Nov 12 that i have attached shows all his points before he broke them off. He was a definate scrapper! He had a bloody eye, broken main beam, broken points and bruises all over his body from fighting.
The trailcam picture dated Nov 24 @ 10:19am was literally seconds before I shot him.
The trailcam picture dated Nov 24 @ 10:40am is me looking at my arrow stuck in the ground after I shot him!
Then the other two pictures are just pictures of him once he was dead. One arrow through the lungs at 15yards did the job. He only went 50yards after I shot.
Before throwing stones at me for shooting two bucks in one season, please understand that the first buck was shot on my strathcona whitetail tag and this buck was shot on my general tag.
Thanks for looking at my pics! This guy wraps up my season. Shot a bull moose and 2 whitetail bucks with my bow. Pretty happy with this season. I hunted HARD.

Agreed. Takes a lot of patience, confidence, and stamina to chuck spears at 'em, never mind the cold. Congrats!
