How to get rid of pigeons from roosting on drainpipes that are attached to the side of a house

I have found shooting them works best.

Run some heavy monofillament fishing line around thier approach route.Or chase them off a few times in the dark.Pellet gun works the best of course.

Wrap with wire that has additional wire tied on to form spikes. The additional wire is tied at a ninety.

put decoys around the spot like a duck and an owl it worked for me!

Put a good bead of lithium grease. Birds will not roost on it
