Default Any one else have fly fishing fever

Ok I know the rain is good for the farmers but come on I live in Calgary and have been dying to hit the bow but on passing by it is looking worse by the day what to do what to do?

Suck it up and head north to fish the still waters. Or go out to bullshead and chase some chromers in the lakes.

I've been out nearly every weekend, hitting up lakes and some small stocked ponds, definitely itching to hit some rivers though!!!

The Bow looks like chocolate mild flowing down it. So for now the only thing to do is hit some still water. Some great fly fishing for pike this time of year. Also there are some great lakes within a few hours drive that have rainbows, some with brookies and others with lake trout and cutthroat. Some have all the above. So head out and find some stillwater.
