Ok this may be a little odd but I am a rabbit hunter and I need help from any deer hunters who hunt within 1 hour of Calgary.
Are there any deer hunters out there who hunt on private land where they see the landowners having issues with rabbit populations?
I am teaching my son to hunt but I only hunt waterfowl however to teach my son to hunt I want to go rabbit hunting.
I have had some success however since my scouting time is limited I am asking if there is a deer hunter who knows of areas with high rabbit concentrations especially if you know it would help the landowner.
Can you pm me if you know of any one who needs help controlling rabbits I would be sincerely appreciative.
I see rabbits all the time - unfortunately they're on my lawn, back alley, etc. in Calgary!
30 minutes ago I was walking the dog, turned a blind fenced corner and there was a coyote standing 20 yards away in the middle of the road. Fortunately it jogged down the road and didn't come after my dog. It stopped broadside at 50 yards to look back. I turned around and went back the way I came. I'm sure it was hunting rabbits.
Need help from deer hunters...
