Default Nakiri Knife from Japan
Good day ladies and gentlemen!

I would like to share with you on this sunny Sunday one of my recent knife restoration videos, that I've been working on for a while now.
I bought the "remains" of this knife on eBay and it came from Japan.

This is restoration with the twist, not your ordinary restoration, I would say.

A very cool video, what kind of epoxy do you use? I love that sharpener it makes for an excelent finished blade.Thanks for sharing.

Thank you! I used ArtWorks Epoxy for this project. Good stuff, doesn't stink.

There is one comment on YouTube, the guys say that little writing in the left corner is Japanese for "quality" or "quality made"
The big writing, however, is more likely Chinese.

Another great restoration. That tang would worry me a bit but if it's not doing any heavy chopping, it's likely fine. Looking forward to the next video.

What are you thoughts on that sharpening device?

I understand you got one from the manufacturer...

How do you like it? Compared to Lansky or WorkSharp?

I'm not worried at all about the tang, it's plenty strong, plus epoxy bonded everything inside, this knife can take some abuse!

Honestly, I think it's a bit overpriced but it is a quality product, parts machined with precision. Has a very stable base, if you go light don't even need to hold it.
I have old Lansky and can't even compare how much nicer TSPROF is. The swivel mechanism works like a charm too. Overall my first impression is very promising, will see how it lasts.
