Takes a LOT of bone to reach those numbers... Hard horned he may look light on the mass but still a great representation of the species. All the best with your quest RMK

yeah 5x6 with split brow on the 5 side....not sure if you can consider that 6x6....im thinking somewhere in the 160s

Some guys sure get all torqued up about the score numbers which is ok, but I'd be willing to bet that 99% of deer hunters would shoot that deer without much thought at all.
It's hard to score bucks in the field for most guys, especially when they are in velvet.

28" of tine length per side, 25" beam length, 18" of mass per side, 17" inside spread, I'm guessing right around 159 gross.

It's a combination of looking at 1000s of deer, holding 100s of horns, knowing some basic averages and a good dose of a hunters tape measure.
