No guarantee that he will grow any bigger.
For all you know that could be as big as he will ever get.

Shoot that sucker before you're looking at a picture with someone else holding his head!

So after spotting the first guy another time or 2 usually after legal light or on Sundays I decided to end my season and shoot this guy.

It's pretty cool that you guys can target deer on your cameras.
A decent pattern for us up here is sometimes as long as three or four weekks before a deer comes back through, they pattern way differently up here than down south with all the fields and such.
Of course I just hunt them differently up here as well.

Funny part is I only have one camera and have been so busy it hasn`t been checked for the last 3 weeks. I shot him about a mile from the camera though in a area where I suspected they bedded down.

Its hard to pass a decent buck when you dont have any big ones yet. Imo deer one is and old deer and likely wont get any bigger amd deer 2 had the potential to be bigger as he was young and had better genes. Oh well, success and meat is always nice. Next year will be a good year for big whitetail, I cant wait!

Congrats on a very nice deer. A freezer full of deer meat is always a good thing.

Both are fine Deer and about as big as they are going to get.

Not that many Deer have the potential to make the top ten.

Where ever you take him to get mounted, do NOT use Advantage taxidermy here in Alberta.

He looks bigger in your hands than in the trail cam pic! Great buck and hopefully you can connect on the other guy next season! Congrats!
