Bertram Brass in Australia still makes this brass, as do a couple of others. I have sent an email to Bertram to see if they will ship to Canada as their are no Canadian Restrictions on importing Brass casings. No idea if Australia has export controls to Canada though. Tried Rusty Wood as they carry Bertram brass but they have no 405. Nor do most of the other places I know of to check.
Hornady apparently doesn't make this brass any more, nor does Winchester. Anyone happen to know where a guy can lay his hands on some 405 Brass here in Canada. Thanks.
Even loaded ammo would work if there is some around.
Found an new 1895 Winchester High Grade in 30-06 and ordered it. At least that is easy to find brass and fodder for. Should be here in 4 days. If I can find fodder for a 405 I may just order the matching one in 405 to go with it.
Korth and they are getting a shipment in sometime next week. 405 is on the order but like Cracker Jacks they don't know what will be in the box . They will have invoices to confirm at that time.
Seen some hornady at sportsmens den in red deer not to long ago
It goes fast. Checked this morning, none available there right now. Good thing is I am in no rush at all. I think I will play with the 30-06 and decide from there if I want another. Thanks all for your help, really appreciate it.
