Default Where to stay with the kids in Fox Creek?

Can anyone help me identify some hotels in Fox Creek? Or, maybe Valleyview? Google isnt helping a whole bunch. Usually I stay in the trailer but will be bringing kids this trip and its going to be cold this weekend.
Is there a kid friendly hotel, maybe something with a waterslide or a pool? Its dark around 5 nowadays and something to keep them busy after hunting would be grand.
All I can recall is the Foxwood on the East end. Thanks for any suggestions.

Make sure to have a reservation wherever it is that you choose to stay. It can be awefully busy this time of year (and throughout the whole winter). Lots of guys end up sleeping in their trucks if they just show up looking for a room.

Default Fox Vegas...

unfortunately, there's no indoor pool here (yet) though there are rumours that the hotel being built should have the pool/slide and Tims that I believe Valleyview DOES have...so, depending on where you're hunting...the kids might like Valleyview better.
Like others have mentioned, very important to make a reservation for all nights...
leeaspell mentioned the really decent ones, but just incase you need more options, I stole this list from the new town website, but had to "fix" parts of it. I'll add some notes too:

(older)Alaskan Motel 780-622-3073, located at 20 Highway Ave
Bedrock Inn 780-622-2223, located at 96-1 Ave
(older but not bad)Fox Creek Inn 780-622-3821, located at 116 Highway Ave
(newer) Foxwood Inn & Suites 780-622-2280, located at 210 Highway Ave
(old)Grizzly Motor Inn (I won't let you take your kids here)
(older)Regal Motor Inn 780-622-3333, located at 108 Highway Ave
(Newest, now called Sandbrar)Devonian Inn & Suites 780-622-4434, located at 70-1 Ave
Western Inn 780-622-8333, located at 206 Highway Ave

And I wish I could comment on the Valleyview hotels, but never stayed there...I think this is the one you want though.

Hope that helped, have fun and be careful - lots of ice around these here parts

Lots of options in whitecourt , don't stay at the quality inn though , I've made that mistake , up here hunting with a buddy who's got land up here . 130 bucks a night for a room you can't control the heat , air conditioning blasted and it still barely blows , can't open a window , and the throne runs all night long .

Default Thanks for the help

Thanks to all for the great info and phone numbers and links. I really appreciate that. I called around and its slim pickins for reservations.

With this weather maybe there will be some cancelations, or, maybe I will decide not to drive that far with the family looking for an accident. 339 or 346 are closer for me and could be days trips as a plan B.

I will watch the weather and make more calls and decide. Looks like that Paradise Hotel in Valleyview with the slide would be the way to go.

Thanks again.
