Immigration & the rules to come here sure has changed since the days my parents came from Germany after the war. I know we need the bodies but who & the sheer numbers the Libs have brought in a huge problem. We are no longer bringing in people who want to be Canadians and accept our Canadian ways(whatever that is).

All one has to do is look at who is protesting these days. I fear we are on our way to being the next UK where multiculturism turns into this melting pot of lawlessness and riots every time a new group don't get their way.

We wouldn't need to import "bodies" if Canadians would have the wherewithal to get educated/trained in the many career fields that need filling in Canada. Importing people from the Philippines, India or Jamaica to then go through a short LPN coarse to fill a job that Canadians can't be bothered to train for is crazy. The same could be said of virtually any of the trades program.
On the other hand it looks like the gravy train of cheap offshore temporary foreign workers is going to come to an end this fall, so be prepared for a longer wait for your Timbits, cuz why would Canadians work for $15 bucks when they can go on EI????
