Powder coating rims
The rims for my winter tires are starting to flake. The rims would be OE painted aluminum factory rims. Other than the finish, the rims are in good shape.
I'm thinking that when I do the spring time tire swap that I take the winter rims in for powder coating. I'm not looking for anything fancy. I'm just wanting something durable and corrosion resistant.
I'm not wanting to paint the rims.
Lots of info online, but I'm always interested in local experience.
So, anyone here powder coat their rims? Any thoughts to share?
