Day 1, at 300 meters, we sucked. What seems to be either a calm or no wind condition got the best of us. Flags lie thru and thru. Local shooters have these valleys figured out. The upward, side drafts got the best of us. Tomorow is the 500 meter shoot. It is our plan that the 6BR's and 6.5x47 will redeem us.

Two of those b.c. boys shoot on team Canada for a reason. Don't feel too bad if they do good at their home range.

Git,
Did you drop your ammo box?
Don't let Lee carry your ammo either.

Well, we're back. The other boys ran about middle of the pack. This boy, not so much, in fact finished dead last in F Open. Things finally started coming together on the bottom half of my last relay at 500 meters with consistent 5's and some V bulls. But not soon enough to redeem myself. Nevertheless, we had a ball and an awesome learning experience. Very tricky range and some sharp shooting locals to deal with. I'll post some pics later, but right now too tired from the trip home.

Good to hear you guys had a blast. I know from other sports, that sometimes the locals have it dialed in and are very hard to beat. Good on you guys for making the trip.

I would much rather have had a lousy match and finished dead last than be sitting here reading about it, believe me!!
Very glad you could get out to the match, all who attended!
