Crescent Falls

Hi all,
I am planning to be out the Nordegg way in the beginning of October. Has anyone tried fishing the Bighorn River upstream of Crescent Falls in late September or early October? Wondering if it’s worth a try.

Is that the one you cross the river to get to the other side on the beginning of Abraham Lake ?

Was hunting one year back in the 80s & some Cowboy kids had used Nylon rope to get down the the river below several sets of falls & they were doing really well !
