Finnlight/Swarovski Z5 elevation adjustment issues
I went to try out my new Finnlight today with Leupold rings and Swarovski Z5 3.5-18 BT, and I ran out of elevation adjustment. I'm shooting about 18" high with no more clicks left to drop POI down. Just hoping you might have some suggestions on how to correct this before I buy Optilock rings (maybe sliding my rings forward or backwards, or something simple like that?). Leupold rings fit my scope perfectly, so I'd prefer to save a couple bucks if possible. Thanks in advance.

It's likely your zero stop causing the issue. Check in the scope manual.

Running out of windage adjustment is common on a Z5 but I haven’t seen one run out of elevation. It wouldn’t surprise me though. They don’t have a lot of adjustment in the high mag 1” tubes.

If you’re running out of adjust down I’d say it’s your zero stop. Do you have the elevation turret pulled apart when sighting in?

I'll check the manual wrt the Zero Stop. Thanks for your advice so far fellas!!! I'll let you know if that was the issue.

I think you have to remove the cap and all the rings for the bt. If I remember right the bottom one is the zero stop

Yep just adjust the zero stop. Mine was shooting high out of the box with no more adjustment. And I wasn't aware of this option.

Sounds like me building IKEA stuff for the kids.
Only the swearing doesn’t stop while reading instructions.

Update:
I took the elevation turret apart as someone had suggested and I'm pretty sure that my issue is resolved. It was 100% Zero Stop related. I just need to go back out to the range and try it now.
Thanks to everyone who helped!
