Default Nikon rangefinder

Looking at getting a new rangefinder and looking at the Nikon monarch 1200.
Anyone have one?
There website does not list reflective/non-reflective effective rangeing ability.
Don't want one that will range a billboard sign at 1200 but won't range game at even 400yrds.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

It's alright, I bought a rangemaster 1600 by leika, after that my nikon got demoted to my golf bag. My advice would be spend the couple extra dollars and buy the last rangefinder you will ever need. I have gotten ranges on antelope out to 1100. What more can a gut ask for.
