Default Bedded my Bergara .22 today

B14R (left hand) bedded with pillars and Devcon aluminum. Now I wait to see if it will release tomorrow...

Is that the same barrel that is on a BMR carbon 22? Looks similar to mine.

Yes this is the same barrel; I bought this one as a barrelled action.

Coming along good. Look forward to seeing the picures after you get it cleaned up and finished. You have a good start. Be even more interesting to hear if it shoots any better than it did.

I use the Devcon to make the Pillar and the bedding. I don't see the point of having two different materials, Devcon and steel or aluminum, with two different expansion and contraction coefficients in the same setup. I just open up the action screw holes and let the Devcon from pillars there. However, you can buy pre-made pillars from lots of places.

Neat idea, you would still need to radius them to the bottom of the action, but nice and cheap starting stock to work with.
