Default Scope recommendation

Time to buy a new scope. I have narrowed my choices down to the vortex viper, nikon monarch, or leupold vx2 or vx3.

Thoughts?

Out of those choices, I prefer the Monarch.

Personally, I'd got with the VX3.

I'd go with the VX3 just because it's lighter.
