Anybody know any place to hunt rabbits near Airdrie/Calgary? I hunt small game like rabbits with my bow only, no rifles. Would love to find someplace that has a ton of rabbits to shoot!

saw the news last night, someone in calgary is shooting rabbits, showed one hopping along with an arrow in it still. I wasnt watching but whoever the intervied, Ill assume it was an officer of some kind, did make a huge point to say that discharging of a weapon like a bow, pellt gun or sling shot inside the city limits is against the law unless you have a permit to do so.
SO on that note, just make sure you are out of the city, and you can probably do what you want. Im sure outside calgary is loaded with rabbits. There are a ton up here outside of edmonton.
you cant be using a bow in the city limits for rabbits ,head out to waiparous around the scout camp .theres tons there for the taking.

Around Calgary means just that, Around, not In.
There is little point in giving any particular location, rabbits are at a high population right now Around Calgary. Just get out where you have permission and have fun.
