Tyson fight last night
Anyone wants to watch it, it’s on Netflix. Free.
Hope old Mike lays a whoopin down on that brat.

Got scheduled to work, but I was planning on it....and do hope it'll be available (full length) to watch Saturday morning.
Not getting my hopes-up, I used to be a Nate Diaz fan before he "fought" Jake Paul in a throw away fight just for the paycheck. What a joke. Nate was a force to be reckoned with in the UFC, but Dana White would have stuck Diaz's contract where the sun doesn't shine if he put in a performance like that as a headliner.
This is a different entity (Netflix), and Mike Tyson isn't Nate Diaz...but we'll see.
I'm a big fight fan, and Tyson looks scarier than ever if you've seen anything recent on him. I'll be pretty stoked if Tyson unleashes that on Jake Paul. If it's a real fight, my prediction is a Tyson win/JP bleeding on the mat with a liver that may not function right going forward.
Honestly, not getting my hopes-up we'll see full power/intent to knock-out.

Me too. A classic Tyson knockout punch sending Paul to the mat would be the best.

tysons wheels fell off right in front of us more than two decades ago....they don't grow back.
I do not believe this would be sanctioned at all without a backroom agreement to avoid KO punches. Likely end in a well staged draw.
If its an actual fight....id bet on a Paul win by KO in under 2 rounds. Speed Kills....mikes just too slow...well edited youtube clips be damned...he looks like a 58 year old man in reality....yes I hated typing that out.

Id love to see Tyson knock JP into the next century but Im not so sure that will happen. The Pauls have made all their money on being absolute tools with very punch-able faces and now make their money with this show matches again much much older big name fighters. I doubt they'd take a fight where there is a big chance JP would lose. Ill be hoping though

Tyson is getting old for this stuff, but it seems he was training hard . No one with half a brain wants Tyson to connect a solid one on your chin.
Hope he knocks out JP .

It'll be nothing more than a show with Paul making $60 mil and Tyson making $20 mil. As much as I respect Tyson as a former champ, it's about the money and the show. I'm not sure why anyone would even try to refute this, Paul is a Disney kid, his whole life has been a show.
I however have even more respect for Paul as a business man, for being able to dupe so many people into his reality circus over the last few years. Plus you have to give the guy some credit, as he has definitely picked up some boxing skills over the years. To me this fight will be like Rocky Balboa vs Thunder Lips.
If nothing else, the Jake Paul show has been a good way for aging fighters to bag some decent paychecks without really needing to "fight".

Be there with bells on, what the heck hey? I loved watching Tyson all those many years when he was indeed a force to be reckoned with (Holyfield aside ) I too hope he knocks JP into next year and early otherwise the age difference will come into play. GO TYSON! (can't believe I'm saying this again )
8-2 min rounds
14 oz gloves

I don't really follow the sport, what's the significance of 14 oz gloves vs 10 oz gloves?

I just have a feeling Tyson is going to blow his wad early. And I'm not going to enjoy watching the rest of the fight after that.

Mike came out swinging. Paul danced. Paul didn’t swing as much. Enough swings to say they fight but I believe Mike would have KO’d him if he could but his tank ran dry after 2 rounds.
Happy Netflix was free as it would have been sad to have paid for that.
Excepting being that Tyson is a pop culture icon. Chewing his glove and that saying he has a biting fixation lol.
Tyson was so gassed. Could hardly speak and looked like he had trouble standing.

Mike came out swinging for all of 45 seconds. He was breathing heavy after round 1.
I don’t think there was much chance of a KO out of Tyson…. Father Time remains undefeated.
I agree though. Glad it was free, I would have been ****ed if I had to pay to see that “fight” on PPV.

Two rounds and the old man was tired but stood in there.
Better than any of us would do hands down heck those two women would smack most of us around in the ring easily.
Now that was a battle watching those two women go toe to toe, holy crap talk about tuff!

Tyson looked sick like he ate a giant meal minutes before fight. Belly was stretched and his face looked like he needed a dump bad. Pitiful. Jake the flake is a girlie boy. Running his mouth that he was going to F Tyson up. He had a chance to T off on Tyson and didn't. Im not saying try to kill the guy when you have him on the ropes but box ! A real bad look for boxing. Jake fights any pro boxer , even a light hevyweight he would get pummeled , maybe last two rounds.
The other fights were pretty good except for Katie Miller head butting and clutching. Serrano got robbed.

I didn't bother watching the spectacle, and it sounds like I didn't miss anything. That being said, I would enjoy seeing Jake Paul fight a credible boxer his age, and take a beating.

Haven't watched any fighting for years. It has turned into a sideshow like wrestling. MMA and all that crap, if it were for real most of those guys would be brain dead, crippled or in the ground already.

Fight kind of reminded me of wrestling. More of a sparing show. Paul didn't look like he was trying. Mike wasn't anything like old Mike.
Mike will have retirement money.
In interviews of Mike in later years he seems to be a better man and really turned his thoughts around.

You missed two very good fights.
I still think Paul is better than he gets credit for. He’d be a top ten ranked fighter in Canada and he has people talking about boxing again. It’s also hard to blame the guy for taking an 8 round, 2 minute per round fight against someone he’ll likely beat over a tougher 10 round, 3 minute per round fight for about $40 million less than he made on this fight. He’s definitely more of a business man than a fighter.
On that note, a Canadian (born in Russia) light heavy weight boxer became the undisputed champ in October. First time since Roy Jones JR united the belts in the late 90’s.

A good reason to finally dump netflix. They couldnt support the feed.
In the end, I think two good things came of it;
Paul did NOT finish his opponent-a 58yr old man;
A 58yr old man professionally threw 27 punches in a ring.
Good on Mike but, wow, I wanted to see Paul twitching on the mat.

And I didn't have to put up with the Netflix issues, so I still don't regret not watching
