Default Ukraine is taking the war to Russian territory

Significant number of troops have pushed into Russia for the past two days and captured a town and a large number of Russian servicemen.

lol.

Putin calls it a serious provocation. lol. Said troops are shooting in the town.

Like then what is Putin doing called in Ukraine. Oh ya. A special military operation.

Ukraine should call it the same thing.

Curious how far this incursion will go.

Thumbs up This was a small scale incursion that got big results

Russia declares state of emergency in Kursk region.
Besides the obvious message this sends to Putin and the people of Russia, this feint may serve to draw some Russian troops away from the front lines in Ukraine. It has been static for too long.
Might shake things up enough to retake Donetsk.

Sounds like more troops than the previous incursions, have Bradleys there, so that would be UAF and possibly the RU Freedom group. Not real sure what they are trying to achieve other than clear a buffer zone around Kharkiv. Would have maybe made more sense to run to Belgorod and/or Kursk and shoot up a few things up and come back, or go in and turn south to hit the northern RU groups in tha back. Some talk of them being at the main stn of a westbound pipeline that runs to Hungary and etc, protecting/stealing something or trying to get RU to blow it up? Taking down some more KA52's and other equipt is always a good thing. Whatever is going on, Darth Putin remains a master strategist.

Default I don’t know why no one see’s it.

This is probably not going to end well for Ukraine. It is a losing battle for them no matter how many arms are shipped their way. When they run out of men that’s it.
The average age of the military there now is 45.

Wow, have a nice time on the other side. Pizza joints close at seven pm and you can’t hunt after 11am.

I think the fact they say they didn't inform NATO or the US about it, says a lot about it. Apparently they know full well they can't trust their "allies" when it comes to security, and apparently, there is a lot of promised equipt and hdwe that hasn't been del'd yet. May well be some deliveries that have not been announced, but, word does get around on that stuff after the fact, and it hasn't so far, as various units are still having to do their own fundraising to get equipt they need to operate with.
Hard to say for a while yet, as to what they want to accomplish with this offensive, Russians don't seem to know their butts from their heads at the moment, Ukes are saying near to nothing about it. Numbers of troops deployed in the area are something of a mystery, there are some areas to the south where they could probably use the reinforcements instead, but, also at this point, this'll act as a morale booster politically, at least temporarily, and perhaps draw off some of the heat south of there. Biggest propaganda boost, is they gained and occupied more turf in two days, than the Russians did in 8-9 months. Talk of them being 20km in this AM. Brigade size group or two turning south, running along the RU side of the border for a couple of days, could be a huge problem for RU morale.

Default Putin's counting on a

Trump win followed by the total withdrawing of US aid.The US rarely has an exit plan or stomach for protracted warfare.

From what I'm seeing on Telegram, this is basically a terror raid -- Chechen-style -- by about 2000 Ukrainian personnel.

Totally in character with Ukrainian nationalism (see Bandera, Shukeyvych et al.), they are indiscriminately killing civilians and taking hostages to secure some sort of ransom for more bargaining power in "negotiations".

Supposedly, Ukraine has taken 110,000 casualties since June as the Russians take territory everywhere along the front line, so this seems like a last, desperate gasp by a fake country destined for the dustbin.

Whether the victims are Poles, Jews, or Belarusians, Ukrainian nationalism's only talent has only ever been killing innocent people.

So Russians invading a country, murdering civilians and military personal, raping anything that has a pulse, destroying anything they can't steal is fine as long as it's done by Russians??? If on the other hand those same people fight back it's somehow an atrocity??? Really?? Comrade it seems like you've fallen for the Putins propaganda hook, line and sinker.......

Default Another good video on progress and potential strategy

https://youtu.be/e-FiXTZZlZo?feature=shared

He does a good job pointing out the successes and pitfalls and potential strategies and what’s going on along the front. Risks and rewards.

I like his videos.
