I’ve always used opti before this year in my jiffy but seemed to idle high after a few holes almost like it was running hot...Eskimo on stihl no issues

X2 on the Amsoil Saber. I mix it with premium and some seafoam, little smoke and works great In my auger and other seasonal equipment....

In my auger I have ran exclusively Aspen two stoke fuel which is already mixed and has a 3 year shelf life and have no complaints at all. I do not drain it over the summer although I will periodically fire it up when I see it sitting in the garage. Too expensive to run in a sled but I think it is worth it for an auger.

Quality gas would be more important than oil.

Default Opti

I have been usin Opti in all my 2 stroke toys for many years. Drop 1 packet of oil in a 1 gal jug and put it in any toy that you own. Runs clean, low smoke to none, stabilizer built in too. I use it in auger, weed wacker, chain saw, back pack blower all year long. And to add use ethanol free gas too. Shell premium around here.

2 stroke mix oil functions best when its flashpoint is paired with operating temperature of the machine its being used in. Too low, and its burns off of the piston crown and damage can result. Too high and it makes sludge in the exhaust. The best is to run a 91 octane fuel without ethanol and a good synthetic mix oil. Pair this for your sled and the auger will work fine with it. I run Motul 700 and 99 octane race fuel, but 91 ethanol free should be more than fine.
