Default Closing the loop on 2024

My first attempt at Euro mounting. I had planned on just mounting the skull plate, but shifted gears and figured if I messed it up I’d default back to a skull plate mount. The deer was the one posted in this thread
http://www.outdoorsmenforum.ca/showt...ight=Burbotman

I learned a bunch but am happy with the result

Love it, outstanding result. The ring of barb wire certainly frames it perfectly. My euro white tail should be ready to hang by Christmas.

That looks great and you have another story to go with it to as in how you did your mount!
Well done.

Agreed on all counts - real nice. I dig the ring of wire too. Might poach that idea for use with my antelope.

Looks great! I really like the ‘wreath’ of barbed wire. I’ve seen one with a few flowers and a cowboy ‘necker-chief’ looped over a remote fence post. Made a simple, but touching memorial.
