I've had both Garmin and Lowrance FFS for the past several seasons on the ice. Over time, and as I've begun to focus more on lake trout fishing, I've migrated towards Garmin with the addition of the LiveScope XR LVS62 transducer. Last year I didn't use my Lowrance ActiveTarget at all, and I don't see using it moving forward. I've decided to list it to fund the purchase of some more Vanfords and give someone else a chance to get into FFS (forward facing sonar).

I'm going to sell this setup complete for $1,250. All you need to do is mount a compatible MFD (Elite FS, HDS Carbon, HDS Live, HDS PRO) and you'll have a setup that will run all day with an accurate display down to around 100'. If you're worried about how this unit compares to the current model ActiveTarget 2, there are several online reviews like
this one that should be reassuring. This setup never gave me any issues, and there are things I like about it better than the LVS32/34 from Garmin. I just don't need three complete setups sitting around.
