I’m thinking of buying a Franchi O/U shotgun. Does anyone own a Franchi, and how to do like it? Thank you for your responses.
I have owned quite a few, older ones before the Canadian distributorship, and a few since they were bought by the Beretta corporation.
They were and are good , well built shotguns.
I have shot both the O/U's and the semis.
I much prefer the Franchi over/ unders to any Bnnelli

I had a Renaissance Classic combo with 20 and 28 gauge barrel sets. It was actually my brother-in-law's gun but I carried it more than he did. Had to help him sell it a few years back and it kills me that at the time I did not have the money to take it off his hands. Only ever used the 20 gauge but I can honestly say I never missed a shot with that gun. Every shot either powderized a clay or folded a bird. I took a pile of pheasant, sharptails, huns, and a few ducks with that beauty. I loved it as it was so light and the geometry was perfect. All these years later, I now have the Benellis and Citoris in my locker but I would love to get my hands on that particular Franchi again.
I have a 12 gauge Instinct L. I use it for pigeon control and backyard clay shooting. I do like it because I shoot it well but I had to take it back to the dealer when it was fairly new to get a screw replaced in the trigger guard. I had lent it to my brother in law so I don’t know what happened. I wasn’t impressed when I was handed a bill to fix it for as new as it was. Warranty must not be very good on them.
I regret not spending more for the Citori I was also looking at instead.
